Container for water (clean brushes)

Unscented, baby wipes. (these only will clean off epoxy glue before it cures)

White scrap paper cut into quarters (no print on one side, for mixing epoxy, etc)

Paint brushes, variety. Sm, med round, up to 3/8" flat, fan brush, others if you have.

Fine pointed long tweezers*

Purple disappearing pen helpfull. Use mine first class

Plastic top of sour cream container or other

Aleenes tacky glue (white) for your fine tip glue bottle.

FAQ's

What do I absolutely need for my first class?

You are welcome to use most of my tools for the first class. I don't want you to buy things until after the first class, to make sure you buy the correct type of tools. I do request for the first class you have a good pair of sewing scissors (blade no longer than 1 1/2", and a glue applicator bottle filled with Aleenes tacky glue. (I sell filled with glue for $5.00 if you can't find. (it will last many years!)

Why, or when do we use a disappearing pen?

I dislike seeing a nice egg with black permanent marks beside the braiding. (difficult when using fine braid to hide.) I use the disappearing marker to mark the scrollwork and braiding lines and it disappears. Great for hanging pictures on the wall...no pencil marks!

Why do we need two scissors?

Those who sew know you can't cut with a pair of scissors that was used for cutting paper, cardboard or other things. So a good pair of sewing scissors is needed to cut braiding so it doesn't fray. The other bad pair can be used to cut greenery, paper and cardboard. (we don't want you to ruin your good pair.)

Spaghetti vs. wax pencil

I used spaghetti to put on crystals for 30 years. But, with Covid and RSV, etc., I decided it was smart to use a wax pencil. They are inexpensive, I sell for $3.00 each. It will last forever!
